NEIGHBOR TO NEIGHBOR CLOTHING ROOM
Neighbor to Neighbor’s Clothing Room provides free clothing, shoes, outerwear and accessories for men, women and children from Greenwich, Stamford and Port Chester. Bed linens and small household items are also distributed. Our clients come to us through referrals from social service agencies, religious congregations and other civic organizations.
The clothing room is stocked entirely by in-kind donations from generous individuals and local retail stores. Our dedicated volunteers spend numerous hours sorting and displaying the clothes prior to helping clients make their selections.
STATISTICS
- 14, 351 individuals were provided with clothing and linens in the past year
- 3,200 sheets, towels, blankets and household items were distributed
- More than 800 coats, gloves and hats were collected through clothing drives
