THANKS TO THE CHILDREN'S HOPE CHEST WHO HELPED COLLECT 175 CRATES OF FOOD! They collected food from a food drive at St. Patrick's and they also stood outside of the Greenwich Stop and Shop this past Saturday and collected food from shoppers. Thanks to Stop and Shop for letting them use their store for the food drive.
We are also in need of volunteers who can lift on Wednesdays anytime from 8:30 to 12:30. We could not do it without you! On behalf of all the people who benefit from your generosity, Neighbor to Neighbor gives a heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who donated so generously in 2008. From donations of food and clothing, to much needed funds, your donations made it possible for us to serve as a safety net for some of our most vulnerable neighbors. In light of the economic challenges we are all facing, this generosity has been truly inspiring all of us at Neighbor. As we move into 2009 with an even greater projected need, we are confident that the support we have witnessed will continue to enable us to provide food and clothing to our neighbors in need. Our sincere thanks again, we could not do it without you.
